Art for Pete’s sake

There's a wonderful scene in the film 'Castle Keep' where the character played by Peter Falk, a US army sergeant, throws away his carbine and turns his back on the madness surrounding him. At that moment, he rediscovers what his real calling was and always had been, he was a baker. He took off with Uka, a Flemish baker’s widow and baked bread as mayhem engulfed the civilised world.

For many years my art has laid dormant and now I wish to rekindle the joy it once gave me.

I’m an artist and I want to paint for no other reason than it’s what I was born to do. If they bring a little joy, that’s a bonus. And if you wish them to adorn your home or mess with your mind that’s even better.
